THE OPERA HOUSE: is one of Paris' most celebrated monuments. Situated in the 9th arrondissement at the end of the avenue de l'Opéra, the sumptuous opera house symbolises the opulence of the Second Empire.
THE EIFFEL TOWER: The Eiffel Tower, La Tour Eiffel in French, was the main exhibit of the Paris Exposition of 1889. It was constructed to commemorate the centennial of the French Revolution and to demonstrate France's industrial prowess to the world.
THE SACRE COEUR: Is so important because it is a tribute to the citizens who lost their lives in the Franco-Prussian war.
NOTRE DAME: Notre-Dame de Paris is cathedral church in Paris. It is the most famous of the Gothic cathedrals of the Middle Ages and is distinguished for its size, antiquity, and architectural interest.

THE PANTHEON: It is important because it was the first place from which Paris was divided from above.

ARC DE TRIOMPHE: It is important because it represents the victories of the French army under the orders of Napoleon.

THE INVALIDES: It is important because it was an important part of the French navy's past to accommodate Napoleon's burial.

MUSÉE DE CLUNY: It has thousands of works from between the 3rd and 16th centuries, including a magnificent exhibition of tapestries, sculptures, stained glass, goldsmiths, jewellery and ivories.

CEMETERY PÈRE LACHAISE: It is important because it is where characters from French and world history of all time are buried.
